MANILA, Philippines — A total of 924 COVID-19 infections were recorded by the Department of Health from August 7 to 13, slightly lower than the previous week’s 977 cases.
Based on the DOH’s latest data, the weekly total translated to a daily average of 132 new cases, which is five percent lower than the 140 recorded daily average from July 31 to August 6.There were eleven infections — or 1.20 percent of the total cases — that were tagged critical or severe, with active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions currently at 238.FEATURED STORIES
