MANILA, Philippines — The on Tuesday recorded 110 new infections of COVID-19, with active cases further brought down to 2,487.

The number of new infections is lower than the number of cases recorded on Monday at 160, as well as the recorded average in the past week during the national elections from May 9 to 15, which was also at 160 cases per day, or a total of 1,118 infections.With this, the total number of confirmed infections is now 3,688,001 nationwide, with 3,625,001 recoveries and 60,452 deaths.
