Bad news for those going on a holiday road trip
Going on a road trip over the next two days? You’ll want to top up your car now—fuel prices are going up this week by quite a bit.
For the week of April 9 to 15, 2024, gasoline prices will go up by P1.10 per liter. Diesel prices will also get more expensive by P1.55 per liter, as will kerosene prices with an increase of P1.05 per liter.Number coding to be suspended for two consecutive days this weekOnce these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P9.30/L and P6.05/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Kerosene prices, meanwhile, will have increased by P1.
If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
