MANILA on Tuesday protested the recent 'aggressive' action of the Chinese Coast Guard in the West Philippine Sea when it used a military-grade laser against a Philippine ship that was on a resupply mission.The Department of Foreign Affairs , in a statement, denounced the recent 'dangerous maneuvers' of the CCG against members of the Philippine Coast Guard on board the BRP Malapascua in the vicinity of the Ayungin Shoal.DFA Spokesman Ma.
Daza added, 'These acts of aggression by China are disturbing and disappointing as it closely follows the state visit to China of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in early January during which he and his Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to manage maritime differences through diplomacy and dialogue, without resorting to force and intimidation.
