Ngayong Lunes, umabot na sa 220,819 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas, ayon sa DOH. "Sa ngayon, wala pang sapat na evidence that would say na BCG would have this good effect for COVID-19," ani Vergeire. Inaasahan naman ng DOH na magsisimula sa Martes ang clinical trials para sa gamot na Avigan, na ginagamit laban sa flu ngunit nakita sa mga pag-aaral na epektibo rin sa mga may COVID-19.
