The Philippine Army 's 2nd Infantry Division donated a total of P794,208 to GMA Kapuso Foundation to help those who were affected by Tropical Storm Enteng and the Habagat early this September.According to "24 Oras" on Monday, two Kapuso classrooms in Matagbak Elementary School and Virgilio Melendres Memorial Elementary School in Pililla, Rizal, weren't spared by the heavy rains caused by Enteng .
In 2022, the 2ID was alongside GMAKF to build Kapuso classrooms in Quezon in the wake of Typhoon Karding."It is particularly touching to me kasi sila ang kasama natin sa mga relief distributions. Kakainin na lang nila, dinonate pa sa atin. That really means a lot," said GMAKF Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Rikki Escudero-Catibog.
