KOTA KINABALU: Penyertaan Parti Liberal Demokratik dan Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah akan memperkukuhkan lagi kedudukan Gabungan Rakyat Sabah .
Keputusan menerima kemasukan LDP dan PHRS itu dibuat melalui jawatankuasa penilaian yang terdiri daripada wakil daripada semua parti-parti komponen GRS sedia ada. Menurut beliau, kedua-dua parti tersebut mampu membawa nilai tambah kepada GRS tanpa mencetuskan persengketaan atau perseteruan bagi berhadapan pilihan raya negeri yang akan datang.
