BUKIT MERTAJAM: RM2.5mil has been allocated for the Seberang Jaya Hospital and upgrading of police quarters in Penang here, announced Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim .Later, Anwar visited the central Seberang Prai district police headquarters and said that RM500,000 was allocated towards building a surau and another RM1mil to upgrade the police quarters in Seberang Jaya.It was reported that upgrading Seberang Jaya Hospital at a cost of RM368mil had begun in 2016.
