With a starting price of RM2,999, the Meizu 21 becomes the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered smartphone in Malaysia, undercutting the likes of theThe Meizu 21 originally debuted back in November last year in China, and offers a mid-sized 6.55-inch AMOLED display pushing an FHD+ resolution.
Under the hood, the Meizu 21 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system-on-chip that Meizu says they’ve tuned further for additional efficiency. That gets mated to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, with Android 13 ouf of the box skinned with Flyme 10.5 over it. In the camera department meanwhile the Meizu 21 features a triple rear camera setup with a main 200MP, f/1.7 camera that utilises the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 image sensor. That gets flanked by a 13MP, f/2.4 ultrawide shooter along with a 5MP, f/2.4 depth sensor. It’s here where you’ll also find the Dynamic Ring, an RGB ring around the bottom camera lens that will flash different colours for notifications, incoming calls, charging status and more. Rounding things off is a 32MP, f/2.
Other features of note includes a 4,800mAh battery with 80W fast charging, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor as well as support for WiFI 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and 5G wireless connectivity.
