Authorities seized P1.3 million worth of shabu hidden in a parcel containing a massage device, Jonathan Andal reported Saturday on "24 Oras Weekend."
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the parcel was brought to a twenty-four-year-old woman in Dasmarinas City, Cavite in a controlled delivery operation.“Yung ating operatiba na nagpanggap na delivery man, hinanap yung tao, sa kanya nakapangalan… Eventually, ni-receive niya and that prompted our operatives and the arresting officer to arrest the person,” said PDEA NAIA Supervisor Gerald Javier.
The Nigerian national, who is said to be 34 years old, introduced himself as Alfred. However, the suspect couldn't get his full name, nor did have a photo of him. The PDEA said they would investigate the matter further and contact the Bureau of Immigration regarding the alleged Nigerian national.— Sherylin Untalan/DVM, GMA Integrated News
