Starting May 11, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes office (PCSO) will only accept online applications for National Capital Region (NCR) patients who are seeking medical assistance from the agency.

This was announced by PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma, saying such is for the safety of the public, especially now with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Garma explained that implementing the online application for NCR patients is to avoid long queues at their offices. Despite the effect of the pandemic on their operation, Garma said that they would do everything to help Filipinos in dire need of medical assistance during these trying times.
