Over 6, 000 Keno and Lotto agents affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic will get P3, 000 assistance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

On March 17, the PCSO temporarily suspended the operations of Lotto, Digit Games, and Keno in the whole country following the rise of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

“We, at the PCSO Board understand the plight of our individual Lotto and Keno agents. That’s why, as our partners in raising revenues, we also have to look after their welfare during this global pandemic. I have instructed our Branch Managers and all other concerned officials to immediately facilitate the release of the assistance,” she said.

The financial aid aims to augment and subsidize the needs of Lotto and Keno agents and to alleviate the burden of stress and anxiety during these hard times.
