The Philippine Coast Guard today, April 3, reported it has monitored 14,114 outbound passengers and 12,742 inbound passengers in all ports nationwide.

A total of 2,552 deployed frontline personnel in 15 PCG Districts inspected 312 vessels and 71 motorbancas. The PCG has placed its districts, stations, and sub-stations on heightened alert to manage the influx of port passengers during the Holy Week from April 02 to 10, 2023. It will also cover the length of summer vacation in anticipation of local tourists traveling by sea for recreational purposes until May 31, 2023.

The riding public can coordinate with the PCG through its official Facebook page or the Coast Guard Public Affairs for inquiries, concerns, and clarifications regarding sea travel protocols and regulations during Holy Week and summer vacation this year.
