In an advisory, the Coast Guard said around 2,108 frontline personnel in 15 PCG districts were deployed.Meanwhile, all Coast Guard districts, stations, and sub-stations are on "heightened alert" to manage the influx of port passengers from December 15, 2022, to January 7, 2023. Passengers were advised to coordinate with the PCG through its official Facebook page or the Coast Guard Public Affairs for inquiries, concerns, and clarifications regarding sea travel protocols and regulations during the Yuletide season. —
