President Ferdinand Marcos has attributed his higher trust and performance ratings in a recent OCTA Research Survey to Filipinos finally “feeling” the effects of his policies and reforms.
He said the nationwide distribution of his Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk, and their Families , which was ramped up during the second quarter, may have contributed to the improvement of his trust and performance ratings. The beneficiaries were from regions 2, 5, 9, 10, 12 and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao .
The same survey also showed the percentage of adult Filipinos who trusted the President rose to 68 percent from 65 percent.
