President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday called on newly appointed government officials and officers to “remain models of excellence
and integrity” and be ready for the “challenging but rewarding” responsibility that their respective positions would entail.
“This is indeed a pivotal moment with you and your loved ones because this is a big break that will change the course of your future. This is also important for the nation and the offices and sectors you represent for with your term comes the promise of new beginnings, new systems, new practices,” the President said in his speech.
Special Envoy to South Korea for Digital Transformation Dennis Anthony Huang Uy was among those who took oath before Marcos. Officers of the Malacañang Press Corps, Malacañang Cameramen Association, the Presidential Photojournalists Association, and the Press Photographers of the Philippines were also sworn in by Marcos.
