NLEX head coach Yeng Guiao believes the PBA's return will be good for the public, especially after a lengthy lockdown.
Guiao said the league's resumption would give fans hope that they can get back to a normal life once protocols by the government to beat the COVID-19 pandemic are followed."There are many concepts and ideas already being discussed. There's the Germany model for their Bundesliga na nakabalik na," he said, referring to the football league.
"Unti-unti gagawa ng protocol ang PBA. Meron silang proposed protocols. They're already talking about it right now. Nagkaka-usap din kami ni tungkol sa mga ideas.""May mga naririnig na tayong mental issues, depressions, lungkot, anxiety. Tingin ko if we can provide some entertainment, makakatulong tayo sa issue na ito," said Guiao.
"May lockdown fatigue na nga. That's the price we have to pay for now, but we can contribute, kalimutan panandalian ang sitwasyon. And if they can see na nakakagalaw na ang PBA, makakapagbigay ito ng hope and set direction. Makakatulong tayo as a league."
