Jordan Adams was unstoppable the entire game as the American import powered San Miguel to a 128-108 blowout of undermanned Blackwater in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.Adams poured in 50 points highlighted by an impressive 6-of-10 shooting clip from the three-point area. He also added 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals to help the Beermen keep their unbeaten record at 2-0 in Group B.
The Beermen had to overcome a slow start, trailing for the most part of the first half with Troy Rosario and rookie Sedrick Barefield leading the way for Blackwater with 14 and 12 apiece after the first two quarters.But San Miguel returned to its old ways in the succeeding periods, regaining a 94-83 cushion at the end of the third before opening the payoff period with an 11-2 rampage for a 105-85 spread thanks to a better shooting from downtown.
