The Pasig City local government showcased the top nine artworks of Grade 8 and 9 school students who joined the city’s poster-making contest to celebrate World No Tobacco Day. ManilaBulletin
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Robert “Dodot” Jaworski Jr., and members of the City Council conferred certificates to the winners during an awarding ceremony on Monday, May 29 at the city hall.
The first place winner was Kelvin Kirk Papna from Manggahan High School , followed by Zhanear Tuazon from Pinagbuhatan High School , second place; and Ram Kalvin Roldan from MHS, third place. The artworks depicted the students’ visual interpretations of the World No Tobacco Day theme, “We need food, not tobacco!”The posters were judged by a panel composed of Engr.
