A “tiangge” or market where women entrepreneurs can showcase their products kicked off the Pasig City local government’s celebration of National Women’s Month.

The open-air market called “Tiangge ni Mutya ng Pasig” is spearheaded by the city’s Gender and Development Office, Pasig City Local Council of Women, and Office of Councilor and GAD Committee Chairperson Corie Raymundo.

The open-air market is located at the quadrangle of the city hall and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until March 11, Saturday. According to the Philippine Commission on Women , the Women’s Month Celebration has served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.
