A murder suspect was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) during the conduct of “Oplan Galugad” on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
A murder suspect was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section during the conduct of “Oplan Galugad” on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Col. Froilan Uy, Pasay City police chief, identified the suspect as Pedro Guial, 54, listed as No. 1 most wanted person in the police gallery. Uy said the suspect was arrested around 5:00 p.m. on Tramo Riverside in Pasay City by members of the WSS and other intelligence units of National Capital Region Police Office .
Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 Judge Elenita Carlos Dimaguila issued a warrant of arrest against the suspect for murder without bail on March 2, 2022. Uy said the arrest of Guial was the result of continuous intelligence gathering with the assistance of other units of the Philippine National Police and government agencies.
