The Pasay City government conducted a mega job fair intended to create job opportunities for fresh college graduates from the City University of Pasay (CUP). ManilaBulletin
According to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, 51 local companies joined the mega job fair held at the Music Hall in SM Mall of Asia on June 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Aside from the local companies that joined in the mega job fair, national government agencies like National Bureau of Investigation , Social Security System , Pag-Ibig, and Philhealth also set up a one-stop-shop to help job seekers get the necessary documents they need.The mayor said the 1,270 fresh graduates from the CUP who joined in the job fair were given the chance to land their first jobs.
The mega job fair is a project of the office of Rubiano, Congressman Antonino Calixto, and the Pasay Employment Services office .
