A new isolation center in Pasay will be established to ensure strict quarantine procedure for COVID-19 patients that will help contain the spread of the virus, the city government said. | CMarquezINQ
The Department of Public Works and Highways will help the local government to transform the container vans into isolation rooms.
The container vans already have air-conditioning units, toilets as well as bathrooms for the hygiene needs of patients, the city government also noted. In a text message to reporters, Pasay public information office chief Eduardo Burgos Jr. said the City Health Office will screen the patients who will be accommodated in the facility.As of Wednesday, Pasay logged 3,423 total cases of COVID-19 with 2,695 recoveries and 131 deaths.
