Authorities seized nearly P1 million worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) in a series of operations within four hours in Pasay City, police announced Tuesday.
Pasay police chief Col. Bernard Yang said his men arrested eight alleged drug personalities following the drug operations that yielded exactly P869,040 worth of illegal drugs.

Bornales’ and Olivia’s arrests came first as police conducted a buy-bust operation at the former’s house in Barangay 185 in Maricaban about 11:50 p.m. on Monday. Seized from them were six sachets of suspected shabu worth around P139,400.
About an hour after the first operation, anti-narcotics police collared Tayson in a follow-up operation early Tuesday morning along Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay 176. The suspect was caught with some P612,000 worth of alleged illegal drugs, which he placed inside a wallet. The Pasay police then nabbed the remaining five suspects after they were caught inside a house in Barangay 178 in Maricaban during a drug sting.
