Damage from post-tropical storm Fiona has led to Parks Canada closing Cavendish main beach and several other sites in P.E.I.CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Parks Canada has shuttered several sites in P.E.I. due to damage from post-tropical storm Fiona.
The Greenwich section of P.E.I. National Park has been barricaded following damage from Hurricane Fiona, Parks Canada is recommending the public avoids the area. - Contributed The Cavendish-North Rustico section of P.E.I. National Park has also been closed. Parks Canada said it is still investigating the area and noted there has been some infrastructure damage.
