People just spontaneously showed up to join in response to posts on social media, and the vehicles were not only from Bacolod City but from towns and cities in southern and northern Negros, she said.
The caravan of vehicles was also joined by locals on pedicabs, motorcycles and even bicycles, that showed participation from a cross section of society, Ocampo said. She said the LLNO has raised funds to put up a billboard for Robredo and her running mate. Sen. Kiko Pangilinan on Araneta Street in Bacolod City and another supporter is putting up another billboard along the Circumferential Road.
The LLNO campaign for Leni is being fueled by private sector support, which is planning more activities during Robedo’s visit in Bacolod on Nov. 5.
