MANILA. Philippines — Premier Volleyball League (PVL) president Ricky Palou addressed the move of Chery Tiggo pulling out the duo of Eya Laure and Jennifer Nierva from Alas Pilipinas, stating that PVL clubs are 'mandated' to lend the players for the national team.

Philippines — Premier Volleyball League president Ricky Palou addressed the move of Chery Tiggo pulling out the duo of Eya Laure and Jennifer Nierva from Alas Pilipinas, stating that PVL clubs are 'mandated' to lend the players for the national team. Laure and Nierva did not suit up for Alas Pilipinas during the FIVB 2024 Women's Volleyball Challenger Cup.
' Still, he made it clear that if they will be playing with the national team they will not be allowed to play in the PVL 2024 Reinforced Conference since it will collide with the preparation of Alas for the two-leg Southeast Asian V. League . Alas Pilipinas will hold a training camp on July 14-25 in Japan.
