The Office of the Executive Secretary announced the suspension of work in government offices and classes at all levels in the Bicol Region on October 24, Thursday as Tropical Storm Kristine continues to bring heavy rainfall and cause widespread flooding.
The suspension for private companies and offices will be left to the discretion of their respective management. On the other hand, newly minted Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla said that he has already issued advisories to local government units across Luzon for the suspension of work and classes on October 24.
