President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has named former Interior Undersecretary Marius Corpus as head of the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and -Controlled Corporations, the Presidential Communications Office announced on Friday.
Corpus, who previously served as interior undersecretary during the Arroyo administration, took over the helm of the commission from former Sandiganbayan Associate Justice Alex Quiroz. The President also named Supreme Court spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka as commissioner of the body tasked with supervising all state-owned companies, replacing lawyer Gideon Mortel. —Marlon Ramos
