A 39-year old woman was arrested in Valenzuela by virtue of a warrant of arrest for allegedly masterminding the killing of her Pakistani husband in his own resort in Dinalupihan , Bataan .Police Captain Joan de Leon, chief public information officer of the Valenzuela police, said Tuesday that the brutal killing happened in May 2023.The arrest order was then issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 5, Dinalupihan , Bataan on Feb. 14 this year.
The police said it was the alleged gunmen who claimed that the victim’s wife had ordered the killing. “Ang tinuturong salarin o mastermind sa pagpatay sa isang Pakistani national na isa ring businessman ay walang iba kundi ang akusado na kaniyang asawa,” de Leon added.The motive behind the crime remains under investigation, according to the Valenzuela police.GMA Integrated News sought the side of the accused, but she refused to give a statement.
