Pakistan on Tuesday confirmed 310 new COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Wednesday.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Pakistan on Tuesday confirmed 310 new COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center said on Wednesday.
The NCOC, a department leading the country’s campaign against the pandemic, said the country had confirmed overall 1,292,047 cases so far, including 1,253,594 recoveries.According to the NCOC data, the pandemic killed 10 people on Tuesday, increasing the overall death toll to 28,892. Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region of the country in terms of cases with 479,664 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 444,320 cases so far.
The country had administered 144,064,235 doses of vaccines until Tuesday, while fully vaccinating 62,547,553 people, said the NCOC.
