PAGASA: Rains expected in southern Mindanao due to ITCZ

Southern Mindanao is expected to experience rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), according to weather bureau PAGASA on Friday.

Southern Mindanao is expected to experience rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone , according to weather bureau PAGASA on Friday.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, based on the weather bureau’s 4 p.m. weather forecast. Residents are advised that possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur. Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for the rest of the country will be light to moderate while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

PAGASA also reported that the highest temperature reached 32.8°C at 2 p.m. while the lowest was 25.2°C at 5 a.m.
