A low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted 455 kilometers east southeast of Davao City as of 3 p.m. will bring rain showers over Mindanao and some parts of the Visayas, PAGASA said Sunday.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau also said that the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan, on the other hand, will be affecting Luzon.
Cloudy skies with rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and Aurora due to the Amihan.Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains also due to Amihan. Affected residents were advised to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
