As of 3 a.m., the center of the cyclone was located 165 kilometers west of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan. However, the shear line, a weather system formed by the collision of cold winds from the northeast monsoon and warm winds from the easterlies, may continue to bring scattered moderate to intense rains over the Visayas, Bicol Region, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon in the next 24 hours.
Badrina warned that flash floods and landslides could occur in areas affected by the three weather systems.
