The shear line and northeast monsoon or amihan will affect the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone ( ITCZ ) will affect Visayas and Mindanao on Friday, according to PAGASA. Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Negros Island Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ , with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Quezon, Laguna, and Bicol Region will experience similar weather due to the shear line. Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon. Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
