Cool breeze may soon be experienced across the country with the coming of the onset of northeast monsoon or “amihan”, the state weather bureau said Thursday, Oct. 21.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said the country is currently on its “transition period.”“Sa katunayan, ang malamig na hangin ay umaabot na sa Taiwan area ,” he added.Batanes and Babuyan Islands may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the prevailing Northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ or localized thunderstorms.
