The Static Display at Bacolod Old Airport, led by LTC Ramedinthine Tolentino Philippine Air Force General Staff Corps , Tactical Operations Group 6 – Group Commander, serves as a compelling showcase of the latest capabilities of the Philippine Air Force, featuring S70-i Black Hawk and UH-1 Philippine Air Force helicopters.
The primary purpose of the static display is to communicate the critical role these combat utility helicopters play in disaster response and relief operations. The accompanying booth highlights rescue equipment employed during such crises to emphasize the involvement of the Philippine Air Force Reserve, which consists of trained civilians ready to support in times of need.
The static display ran from October 13 to October 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as part of the Supercity Runway Masskara 2023 event.
