Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested two alleged notorious drug pushers and seized more than P71,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Calamba City, Laguna. | dtmallarijrINQ /PDI
Edgar Calsado and Salve Melliena were collared after they sold shabu to a police agent in Barangay Pansol at 5:36 p.m., the Region 4A police said in a report Sunday, Dec. 25.The duo, both on the police drug watch list, yielded four sachets of meth weighing 10.5 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P71,400.
The suspects were detained and face formal complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
