THE chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Appropriations has allocated P500 million to help ensure stable and more reliable power supply for the province of Albay.
“Our vision is to empower Albay by providing stable and efficient electricity supply,” Rep. Elizaldy Co of Ako-Bicol party-list group said.
Two new power substations will also be constructed to enhance the Albay Electric Cooperative’s grid capacity and improve management and distribution of electricity. These new substations are strategically planned to serve key areas in Albay, reducing overloads and enhancing the overall reliability of the transmission grid.
