“Dahil daw sa taripa naging 35 percent to 15 percent na lang kaya ang mangyayari siguro bababa yung imported kaysa sa local. Konti lang ang ibinaba ng local,” ani Maynard Zara na may-ari ng bigasan. Umaasa ang mga nagtitinda na magtutuloy tuloy ang pagbaba ng presyo ng bigas. “Mas maganda sana kung tuloy tuloy na yung pagbaba. Wala rin kami tinutubo bakit kamo yung sa trucking namin kapag nagbaba pa tauhan ko syempre meron din sa kanila,” sabi ni Miguel.
