“It’s definitely a lot more competitive,” said Kenna Ryan, a centre midfielder who will be entering her third season with the Hurricanes. “I don’t think it’s too competitive for us; I definitely think we can compete at this level.”

“It means a lot to me, being from P.E.I., to be able to host nationals here, especially in Summerside.”It will also mark the first opportunity Ryan has to compete in a national soccer championship in P.E.I.This will mark the 10th time the Hurricanes have hosted a national championship and the first time in Summerside.
