Cornwall, P.E.I. man convicted of sexually assaulting an underaged teenage girl multiple times will serve his sentence in a provincial facility.

At sentencing on Dec. 13, Chief Justice Tracey Clements decided that given the circumstances, a fit and appropriate sentence was two years less a day to be served at a provincial facility. Fall was arrested the following day on Oct. 28, 2021. He admitted to police about the four sexual incidents with the girl, including intercourse, at his residence. He said he didn't know she was 14 before the first encounter but was aware of her true age prior to the three subsequent incidents. He also told police that the girl initiated the sexual encounters and that he didn't force her to have sex.
Fall is a graduate of Holland College and briefly attended UPEI. He has also worked in sports-related activities, including coaching, management, marketing and communications. Fall did not have a prior criminal record.
