A medical mission organized by Manic Nightnings Events Production, in collaboration with Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte and Derm Edge, provided free medical services to over 700 residents in Barangay 76-A Bucana.

More than 700 residents in Davao City benefited from a medical mission held on Thursday, January 30th, in Barangay 76-A Bucana. The event, organized by Manic Nightnings Events Production in collaboration with the office of Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, was spearheaded by Derm Edge.

The mission provided a wide range of free services, including medical consultations, medicines, eye examinations and reading glasses, skin care, minor surgical procedures such as removal of cysts, warts, and moles, and haircuts. Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II and his wife, Yssa Labrador-Duterte, were actively involved in the event, interacting with the community members and barangay officials. They also distributed food packs and snacks to those in attendance. Joan Castro, owner of Derm Edge, stated that the medical mission was organized to commemorate both her birthday and Derm Edge’s 10th anniversary. AB Perales, a 21-year-old single mother, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to have her three-year-old daughter checked by a doctor during the event. She shared that her daughter had been ill for almost a week, but they were unable to afford medical attention. Perales emphasized how the free medical mission was a lifeline for families like hers who struggle financially.Barangay Captain Robert Olanolan of 76-A Bucana praised Derm Edge and Rep. Duterte for the comprehensive medical mission. He highlighted the significance of offering minor surgical procedures, treatments for skin problems, and facial and skin care services. Olanolan expressed his pride in hosting such a beneficial event within his community, noting the visible joy and relief among the residents who received free healthcare
