A total of 588 former users of illegal drugs completed rehabilitation since July, said the local government of Caloocan City on Sunday, Jan. 15.
The rehabilitation program was established by the Community Assisted Rehabilitation and Research Outpatient Treatment and Training System under the Caloocan Anti-Drug Abuse Office , which aims to provide treatment and care services to former illegal drug users.
“Patunay po ito na mayroong pangalawang pagkakataon, at sa panibagong buhay na naghihintay sa inyo, hangad po namin na gawin niyo po itong matiwasay at makabuluhan ” he added. “Gagawin po natin ang lahat ng ating makakaya upang mahikayat ang iba pa nating mga kababayang nalulong sa masamang bisyo upang talikuran na nila ito. Nakahanda po ang ating pamahalaang lungsod na tulungan kayo sa pamamagitan ng ating mga programa. Bukod po sa ating rehabilitation program, nililinang din natin ang kaalaman at kakahayan ng ating mga kababayan sa loob, upang sa kanilang pagbabalik, ay handa at may kakayanang kumita mula sa pagsisikap in the city to stop.
