A total of 3,126 fresh coronavirus infections were recorded on Thursday, Aug. 25, based on the DOH Covid-19 tracker.Metro Manila still recorded the most number of infections in the recent two weeks with 12,723 cases. Calabarzon came in next with 7,053, Central Luzon with 4,275, Western Visayas with 2,247, and Cagayan Valley with 1,798.

The Philippines’ cumulative tally of Covid-19 cases stood at 3.86 million. The recovery tally was at 3.77 million, while the death count was at 61,519.
