The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has provided assistance to 17,809 individuals who were affected by shear line-induced heavy rains and flooding in various parts of the country.

PRC also deployed its Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Unit with water tankers and water bladders to provide 300,000 liters of potable water to Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga City. PRC added that 1,087 children from Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, and Palawan participated in its child-friendly activities hosted by the PRC Welfare Unit, while 1,914 adults from Zamboanga City, Lanao Del Norte, Agusan Del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, and Palawan received psychological first aid sessions.
