Around 10,000 security personnel from different agencies, including the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), were deployed on Monday, October 23, to serve in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in the region slated on Oct. 30, 2023. As announced during the ceremony, the breakdown would be 7,288 forces coming from the PRO-Davao, 3,195 from the 10th Infantry Division, and 139 from the Philippine Coast Guard, a total of 10,622.On the other hand, Commission on Elections-Davao Region acting regional director lawyer Gay Enumerables affirmed during the press conference after the ceremony that they have already collaborated with the Department of Education-Davao Region for the teachers who will serve for the BSKE.
