The Police Regional Office 3 will deploy more than 1,000 policemen on national highways and major roads in Central Luzon during Holy Week and the rest of summer as part of its annual Oplan Summer Vacation. /PDI

“I gave directives to all provincial and city directors in the region to ensure the safe and secure travel of motorists and commuters this coming Lenten Season and summer vacation. As a matter of fact, we will be deploying more than 1,000 personnel region-wide starting April 1,” Police Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo Jr., PRO3 chief, said in a statement on Friday, March 31.

He said road safety marshals would be deployed in convergence points, particularly in bus terminals, airports, seaports, and recreational areas.
