Outgoing AFL boss Gillon McLachlan and his wife Laura have sold their stylish Prahran home for $8 million and bought another house in the same suburb.
They sold their home for $8 million, after initially asking $10 million to $11 million.Gillon and Laura McLachlan have sold their Prahran home.Public records show the property, owned in Laura’s name, settled on Friday. It last traded in 2013 for $4 million, doubling in value in the decade since.
A spokesperson for McLachlan could not be immediately reached on Friday. The selling agent on the listing, Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello, also could not be reached.Set on a large block of almost 1200 square metres, it features an open-plan living room with a fireplace and bar, a swimming pool, an al fresco entertaining area, luxury kitchen appliances, a butler’s pantry and a double garage.
