Yes, it was a party to beat in terms of venue, food, music, but most of all the best entertainment you could have. International celebrity singer Paul Anka flew in to entertain the guests for the birthday celebration of businessman/philanthropist Oscar Violago, who turned 80 with so much fanfare.
Organized by loving son Anthony AJ Violago and daughter Malou, they made sure no stones were left unturned for this memorable event. As guests entered the beautifully decorated see-through tent occupying the whole garden, including the pool which was covered by Bermuda grass and carpets, they were in awe looking at all the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the tent, while the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra played background music as guests arrived.
Stanley Ng, top honchos of two big corporations Tessie Coson of Banco de Oro and Hans Sy with wife Carol Sy of SM Supermalls and SMDC, and Robina Gokongwei of Robinsons Corporation. BDO executive George Barcelon and House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez were also present.Food was excellent as always, catered by Chef Jessie Sincioco. Business partners of Oscar who flew in from the USA were executives of New Energy World Infrastructure Ryan Astheimer, Ben Blanchet, and Raj Sayall.
